Our museum café – de Trechterbeker – is the only café in Drenthe with a view of a hunebed. In fact, the largest hunebed in the Netherlands.
The café offers a wide choice of items from coffee or tea with local cake to soup or something more substantial such as delicious filled rolls. A special children’s menu caters for younger guests.
The museum café and outside terrace are open to everyone, with or without a museum ticket. So even if you’re just walking or cycling in the area, or want to see the hunebed, or just driving past, you are very welcome.
Special arrangements
Special arrangements are available for groups, such as for school or staff visits, children’s parties, birthdays, company meetings or receptions.
